Select a submenu item labeled with the corresponding number. Enter * (by pressing the key) or enter P (by pressing and holding the key) in standby mode.
If the phone cannot be powered on after you press and hold End/Power key, the reason is probably that the battery is used up. In this case, charge the phone for five minutes (during this period, the charging icon may not be displayed on the screen) and power it on again. Screen Icons Icon Description Signal strength. Customize profile activated. FM radio activated. Missed call(s). Installing the SIM Card Before installing the Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) card, ensure that your phone is powered off. When inserting the SIM card, ensure that the golden contact area on the SIM card is facing downward and that the beveled edge of the SIM card is properly aligned with that of the SIM card slot. Removing the SIM Card Before removing the SIM card, ensure that your phone is powered off.
If the phone does not work properly or if crashes occur, you can press and hold the battery reset button on the right side of the SIM card slot until the phone is powered on again. Charging the Battery To charge the battery, do the following: 1. Connect the charger to an alternating current (AC) power socket. 2. Connect the charger to the charger jack on the phone. 3. Wait until the battery is completely charged. When the battery is being charged, an animated charging icon is displayed on the screen.
2. Press Navigation keys to select the desired function menu. 3. Press the Left soft key (Select) to access the selected menu. 4. Select a submenu in either of the following ways: z z Press the Up or Down navigation key to scroll to the desired submenu. Press the number key corresponding to the serial number of the submenu. 5. Press the Left soft key (Select) to display the submenu. 6. Press the Right soft key (Back) to return to the previous menu or exit the function menu.
z z You can also make a call from call logs, contacts, and messages. During a call, press the Left or Right navigation key to adjust the volume. Answering a Call When there is an incoming call, you can do the following: z z z Press the Call/Answer key to answer it. Press the Left soft key (Options), and then select Accept to answer it. Press the Right soft key (Reject) or the End/Power key to reject it.
unlocks a blocked PIN. Both the PIN and the PUK are provided with the SIM card. For details, consult your service provider. If you enter an incorrect PIN a pre-defined number of consecutive times, the phone prompts you to enter the PUK. If you enter an incorrect PUK a pre-defined number of consecutive times, the SIM card becomes permanently invalid. In that case, contact your service provider for a new SIM card. Locking the Keypad To lock the keypad, press and hold the # key in standby mode for about 3s.
Eng Predictive input mode 123 Number input mode You can press the Right soft key (Delete) once to delete the last entered character. You can also press and hold the Right soft key (Delete) for about 3s to delete all the entered characters at once. Multi-tap Input Mode To enter text in multi-tap input mode, press the key labeled with the desired letter once to enter the first letter on the key, twice to enter the second letter on the key, and so on.
2. Press the Navigation keys to scroll to the desired word. You can press the * key to switch a selected letter between the upper case and the lower case. 3. Press the Left soft key to enter the word. z z Press the 1 key to display commonly used punctuations. Press the 0 key to enter a space. Entering a Digit z z In "123" input mode, directly press the number key labeled with the desired digit. In multi-tap input mode, press a number key consecutively until the desired digit appears on the screen.

Using wireless devices in an aircraft may cause danger to the operation of the aircraft and disrupt the wireless telephone network. It may also be considered illegal.
z z While using the device, observe the local laws and regulations, and respect others' privacy and legal rights. Keep the ambient temperature between 0°C and 40°C while the device is being charged. Keep the ambient temperature between 0°C to 40°C for using the device powered by a battery. Prevention of Hearing Damage Using a headset at high volume can damage your hearing. To reduce the risk of damage to hearing, lower the headset volume to a safe and comfortable level.
z z z z z z z The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times before it eventually wears out. When the standby time and the talk time are shorter than the normal time, replace the battery. Use the AC power supply defined in the specifications of the charger. An improper power voltage may cause a fire or a malfunction of the charger. Do not connect two poles of the battery with conductors, such as metal materials, keys, or jewelries.
z z Do not dispose of batteries in fire as they may explode. Batteries may also explode if damaged. Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Recycle or dispose of used batteries according to the local regulations or reference instruction supplied with your device. Cleaning and Maintenance z z z z The device, battery, and charger are not water-resistant. Keep them dry. Protect the device, battery, and charger from water or vapor. Do not touch the device or the charger with a wet hand.
z z z z Do not place sharp metal objects such as pins near the earpiece. The earpiece may attract these objects and hurt you when you are using the device. Before you clean or maintain the device, power off the device and disconnect it from the charger. Do not use any chemical detergent, powder, or other chemical agents (such as alcohol and benzene) to clean the device and the charger. Otherwise, parts of the device may be damaged or a fire can be caused.
Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) and include safety measures designed to ensure safety for all users, regardless of age and health.
