Preparing t he EM730V Locat e t he WWAN Mini PCI Express int erface on t he m ain board of t he PC. Find t he m ain ant enna and t he auxiliary ant enna. I f a USI M/ SI M card is provided by your service provider, insert t he USI M/ SI M card int o t he USI M/ SI M card slot on t he m ain board of t he PC. N ot e : I n cert ain cases, your PC m ay be disassem bled only by t he professionals.
I nst allat ion Guide I nst alling t he EM730V ont o t he Main Board of t he PC 1. I nsert t he Mini PCI Express connect or of t he EM730V int o t he WWAN Mini PCI Express int erface on t he m ain board of t he PC. 2. Press downwards t o fix t he EM730V in t he m odule slot .
3. Use a screwdriver t o fix t he EM730V ont o t he m ain board of t he PC wit h t wo screws provided in t he EM730V packing box. 4. I nsert t he connect or of t he m ain ant enna int o t he M AI N ant enna int erface ( M ) of t he EM730V according t o t he indicat ion on t he label of t he EM730V. I nsert t he connect or of t he auxiliary ant enna int o t he AUX ant enna int erface ( A) of t he EM730V in t he sam e way.
Do not pinch t he ant enna cable or dam age t he connect ors. Ot herwise, t he wireless perform ance of t he EM730V m ay be reduced or t he EM730V cannot work norm ally. Ensure t hat t he ant enna cables are rout ed t hrough t he channel in t he fram e of t he PC and do not lay across t he raised edges of t he fram e.
Rem oving t he EM730V from t he Main Board of t he PC 1. Disconnect t he ant enna cables from t he EM730V. You can lift t he connect ors wit h a sm all screwdriver. 2. Rem ove t he t wo screws wit h t he screwdriver.
3. Slide backwards t he t wo clips t o release t he EM730V from t he slot . Then, lift up t he EM730V. I nst alling t he EM730V Soft ware A disk is provided in t he EM730V packing box.
