Option Description
Reports You can enable or disable this function. When the
function is enabled and you are sending a message, the
network will send a message to inform you that the
receiver has got the message you have sent.
Use same SMS
centre for reply
Set the SMS center number which receivers used to
reply messages to the same one as the sender.
SMS Bearer
Domain
The bearer field that is used to send messages:
y
Circuit Switched (CS): messages are sent through the
CS domain.
y
Packet Switched (PS): messages are sent through the
PS domain.
Validity Select the valid period during which messages can be
stored in the SMS center.
SMC Number The number of the current SMS centre is supposed to
be included in the USIM/SIM card; this information
will automatically fill up as soon as the USIM/SIM
card is loaded. If no such information or it has been
accidentally deleted, contact your provider to get this
number.
Note:
If no storage space is available in your USIM/SIM card for the reports,
the "Request status report" option is invalid, please contact your card
provider for details.
