14 Quick Start Guide
9. Make Your First Call
1. On the Home screen, tap Phone.
2. Tap the keys on the keypad to
enter the phone number.
Tip If you tapped a wrong number,
tap to erase each subsequent
digit of a number. To erase the
entire number, tap and hold .
3. Press the TALK/SEND button toTALK/SEND button to
place the call.
Tip When in a call, use the VOLUME
UP/DOWN buttons on the side of
the device to adjust the phone
volume.
You can also make a video call using your device if both you and
the party you want to call are using a 3G-enabled SIM card and
are inside a 3G coverage area.
To make a video call, dial the number of the person you want to
start a video call with and then tap Menu > Video Call.
