60 Managing your Phone
To change power management settings
You can use Power Management to check the battery, and configure
settings that prolong battery life.
1.
On the Home screen, click
Start
>
Settings
>
Power
Management
.

Adjust the following:
•
In
Backlight time out on battery
, select the amount of time for
the phone to be idle before the backlight turns off.
•
In
Backlight time out on AC
, select the amount of time for the
phone to be idle before the backlight turns off when using AC
power.
•
In
Display time out
, select the time limit for the phone to be idle
before the screen turns off.

Click
Done
Click DoneClick

Tip Main battery indicates the amount of battery life remaining.
To fi nd the operating system version number
•
On the Home screen, click
Start
>
Settings
>
About
.
The operating system version number installed on your phone along
with the manufacturer copyright information will be listed on the
screen.
To fi nd the phone specifi cation
•
On the Home screen, click
Start
>
Settings
>
System Information
.
The System Information screen displays the details about the phone
specifi cation, such as processor, speed, memory, display, model name,
and so on.
To turn on and off error reporting
1.
On the Home screen, click
Start
>
Settings
>
Error Reporting
.
2.
Do one of the following:
• Select
Enable
to turn on error reporting.
•
Select
Disable
to turn off error reporting.

Click
Done
