Using the front camera
Take a picture or shoot a video of yourself using the front camera.
To switch to the front camera, on the camera screen, tap or . To switch back
to the main camera, tap or again.
Some camera features are not available when you’re using the front camera, such
as auto focusing, zooming, and face detection.
Taking a photo
1. From the Home screen, tap > Camera.
2. Slide the 2D/3D mode switch to 3D or 2D.
If you're taking a 3D photo, hold HTC EVO 3D in landscape orientation for best 3D
effects.
3. Tap the flash button repeatedly to choose a flash mode depending on your
lighting conditions.

4. Choose an effect to apply to your photo.
5. If you're taking a 2D photo:
§ Zoom in or out first on your subject.
§ Choose a photo resolution to use from the camera settings.
§ If you're taking a photo of a group of people, the camera will automatically
recognize faces and adjust the focus. You'll see boxes on people's faces.
6. When you're ready to take the photo, tap . Or, press the CAMERA button.
7. Choose what you want to do with the photo you’ve just taken.
Recording video
1. From the Home screen, tap > Camcorder.
2. Slide the 2D/3D mode switch to 3D or 2D.
If you're recording 3D video, hold HTC EVO 3D in landscape orientation for best 3D
effects.
3. Choose an effect to apply to your video.
