From time to time, Google may send new or updated versions
of your phone’s operating system via over-the-air (OTA) updates.
Such updates will not be sent if you are roaming or if you clear
the Background data check box. See the User Guide for details.
28. Downloading Applications from Android Market™
Android Market is a place where you can download
applications and games to your phone.
Note You need to be signed in to a Google account and have an
active data (GPRS/3G) or Wi-Fi connection before you can use
Android Market.
To download and install an application
Press HOME, then touch the Applications tab, and then
touch Market.

Touch a featured application on top of the screen to
open the application details screen.
Tip You can also touch Applications or Games to view
and select applications in a categorised list. Touch an
application in the list to open its details screen.
3. Touch Install. After the application is downloaded and
installed on your phone, the content download icon
( ) appears in the notification area of the status bar.
