What’s new? 3 1. Redesigned Lock screen The lock screen has a fresh new look and feel. Simply unlock the screen by pulling the ring upward. You can also: Drag an app icon to the ring to unlock the screen and directly go to that app. Or, if you have an event reminder, set alarm, or an incoming call, drag the icon of the action you want to the ring.
What’s new? 2. Back up text messages to your storage card When backing up text messages to your SIM card, you need to copy them one by one. It’s a lot quicker and easier to back up text messages to your storage card since you can save them all in one go. 1. From the Home screen, tap 2. Press > Messages. , and then tap Backup SMS > Backup SMS. 3. Enter a name for your backup file, and then tap OK.
What’s new? 5 4. Trim video clips After recoding videos on your phone, now you can remove unwanted scenes from a video clip. 1. From the Home screen, tap the All videos album. > Gallery, and then tap 2. Press and hold the video you want to edit, and then tap Trim. 3. Drag the two trim sliders approximately to the part where you want the video to begin and end. 4. Tap to preview your video, and then tap Done. The trimmed video is saved as a new file. 5.

To use this feature, select the Trace keyboard check box in Settings > Language & keyboard > Touch Input > Trace keyboard. 9. Wi-Fi printing Connect your phone to a supported printer over the same local network using Wi-Fi®, so you can conveniently print out documents, email messages and photos.
