Set up Push to Talk
Your phone offers an exciting new Push to Talk (PTT) service. The first step
in using the Push to Talk (PTT) service is initializing the phone.
1.
Press the PTT button on the left side of
the handheld.
2.
Tap Yes when prompted to initialize PTT.
3.
Type a name that is up to 20 characters (this
will be your PTT user name) and tap OK.
4.
Once the initialization process is complete (it
may take several minutes), a message box will
appear and then the “Available” icon will
appear in the title bar.
5.
You will receive a notification when the PTT
service is initialized successfully.
