Connecting an External Display
The TV Out function lets you output the device’s screen to an external display
such as an LCD monitor, or projector. This feature is useful when you are doing
a presentation or when you are sharing your videos or photos. A video output
cable comes with your device for easy connection to an external display.
Connect the device to an external display
1. Turn off the external display and disconnect it from the wall socket.
2. Connect the video output cable to the VGA cable of the LCD monitor or
projector.
3. Connect the other end of the video output cable to the VGA/TV-Out and
USB Host port on your device.

4. Plug in and turn on the external display.
Enable TV Out
1. On the Today screen of your device, tap Start > Settings > System
tab > TV Out.
2. On the TV Out screen, select On in the drop-down menu.
