Connect the footswitch
1. Make sure the VDPLDJBAR7 is powered on.
2. Plug the footswitch into the device (marked 5 on the image above).
3. Press the PRESET pedal to activate the footswitch.
All white LEDs light up.
Disconnect the footswitch
1. Unplug the footswitch from the VDPLDJBAR7.
2. Unplug the power cable from the device.
3. Plug the power cable back in to start using the device without the footswitch.

The footswitch can be used with short and long presses.

10. Cleaning and Maintenance
Before starting any cleaning or maintenance activities:
1. Unplug the device's power cord from the outlet.
2. Let the device cool down.
Cleaning
 Clean the external optics with a soft cloth.
 Always be sure to dry all parts completely before plugging the unit back in.
 Cleaning frequency depends on the environment in which the unit operates (i.e. smoke, fog residue, dust,
dew).
 Do not immerse the device in any liquid.
 Use a vacuum (or dry compressed air) and a soft brush to remove dust collected on the external
surface/vents.
 Clean all external optics and glass/transparent surfaces with a mild soap solution, ammonia-free glass
cleaner, or isopropyl alcohol.
 Apply the solution directly to a soft, lint-free cloth or a lens cleaning tissue.
 Softly drag any dirt or grime to the outside of the external optics or glass/transparent surface.
 Gently polish until free of haze and lint.
 Dry carefully after cleaning.
