13. Connect cables from the 12G SAS expander to the drive backplanes.
A standard configuration is shown. For additional cabling diagrams, see "Cabling diagrams on page
118".
14. Install the fan cage.
15. Install the air baffle.
16. Install the access panel.
17. Install the server into the rack.
18. Connect each power cord to the server.
19. Connect each power cord to the power source.
20. Power up the server .
The installation is complete.
Installing a GPU card
A GPU can be installed into the primary, secondary, or tertiary position. This procedure shows installation in
the secondary position.
