*System may require upgraded and/or separately purchased hardware and/or a DVD drive to install the Windows 7 software and take full
advantage of Windows 7 functionality. See
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/ for details.
**Windows® XP Professional is
preinstalled on this system and includes end user rights and media for Genuine Windows 7 Professional. You may only use one
version at a time. You must back up all data (files, photos, etc.) before uninstalling and installing operating systems to avoid loss
of your data.

DirectX® 10 or later requires Windows Vista or later. Windows 7 will support older DirectX 9 adapters using a WDDM v1.0 (Vista)
driver. DirectX 10 or later requires a WDDM v1.1 (Windows 7) compliant driver.
4.
64-bit computing on Intel architecture requires a computer system with a processor, chipset, BIOS, operating system, device drivers and
applications enabled for Intel® 64architecture. Processors will not operate (including 32-bit operation) without an Intel 64 architecture-
enabled BIOS. Performance will vary depending on your hardware and software configurations. See
www.intel.com/info/em64t for more
information. Dual Core is designed to improve performance of certain software products. Not all customers will necessarily benefit from the
use of this technology. Intel’s numbering is not a measurement of higher performance.
5.
Intel Execute Disable Bit (DEP) provides additional protection against buffer overflow viruses. Enabling DEP in the OS requires a PC with a
processor supporting DEP, Windows XP SP2 or later operating system, and that feature must be enabled in the system BIOS. Contact your
application software vendor for information regarding use of the application in conjunction with XD. It is strongly recommended that users
continue to use third party anti-virus software as part of their security strategy.
6.
Intel HT Technology (HT) is designed to improve performance of multi-threaded software products and requires a computer system with a
processor supporting HT and an HT-enabled chipset, BIOS and OS. Please contact your software provider to determine compatibility. Not all
customers or software applications will benefit from the use of HT. See
http://www.intel.com/info/hyperthreading for more information.
7.
Intel® Turbo Boost technology requires a PC with a processor with Intel Turbo Boost capability. Intel Turbo Boost performance varies
depending on hardware, software and overall system configuration. Check with your PC manufacturer on whether your system delivers Intel
Turbo Boost technology. See www.intel.com/technology/turboboost for more information.
8.
For hard drives, GB = 1 billion bytes; 1 TB = 1 trillion bytes. Actual formatted capacity is less. Up to 8GB (for XP and XP Pro), up to 10 GB
(for Vista), and up to 16 GB (for Windows 7) of disk space is reserved for the system recovery software.

widely vary with some home DVD players and DVD-ROM drives. Note that DVD-RAM cannot read or write to 2.6GB Single Sided/5.2
Double Sided-Version 1.0 Media. LightScribe creates a monochrome image. LightScribe media required and sold separately. Note that DVD-
RAM cannot read or write to 2.6GB Single Sided/5.2 GB Double Sided Version 1.0 media.
10.
Blu-Ray is a new format containing new technologies; certain disc, digital connection, compatibility and/or performance issues may arise,
and do not constitute defects in the product. Flawless playback on all systems is not guaranteed. In order for some Blu-ray titles to play, they
may require a DVI or HDMI digital connection and your display may require HDCP support. HD-DVD movies cannot be played on this
Desktop PC. Don’t copy copyright-protected materials.
