set ntp Enables or disables the NTP client on a wireless LAN switch.
Syntax
set ntp {enable | disable}
enable — Enables the NTP client.
disable — Disables the NTP client.
Defaults — The NTP client is disabled by default.
Access — Enabled.
History —Introduced in MSS Version 3.0.
Usage — If NTP is configured on a system whose current time differs
from the NTP server time by more than 10 minutes, convergence of the
WX time can take many NTP update intervals. 3Com recommends that
you set the time manually to the NTP server time before enabling NTP to
avoid a significant delay in convergence.
Examples — The following command enables the NTP client:
WX4400# set ntp enable
success: NTP Client enabled
