348 CHAPTER 8: MANAGING WX SYSTEM IMAGES AND CONFIGURATIONS
The Policy Manager window appears.
3 Select the policy from the Select Policy drop-down list.
4 Select the switches in the Devices column.
5 Click Review Changes.
For each switch you select, a tab appears. Each tab lists the CLI
commands for the configuration changes that will be applied to the
switch if you accept the changes.
6 To apply the changes from the policy to the switches, click
Apply Changes, then click Close.
To cancel without applying the changes, click Close without clicking
Apply Changes.
If you apply the changes, 3WXM applies the changes to the switches in
the network plan. However, the changes are not yet applied to the
switches in the live network. To apply the changes from the network plan
to the network, select Manage > Managed Devices. (See
“Synchronizing Local and Network Changes” on page 333.)
Rebooting WX
Switches or MAP
Access Points
You can use 3WXM to reboot WX switches and MAP access points.
1 Select Manage > Reboot WX/MAP Devices from the toolbar in the
main 3WXM window. The Reboot WX/MAPs dialog box appears.
2 In the Mobility Domain Selection list, select the Mobility Domain the WX
or MAP you want to reboot is in.
3 Do one of the following:
To reboot a WX, select it from the list on the Wireless Switch tab.
To reboot a MAP, click Managed Access Point, and select the MAP(s)
you want to reboot.
To select multiple items, press Shift (for contiguous items) or Control
(for noncontiguous items) while clicking items.
4 Click Reboot.
Information about the rebooting process is shown in the Status column.
5 Click Close to close the dialog box.
