336 CHAPTER 8: MANAGING WX SYSTEM IMAGES AND CONFIGURATIONS
To deploy local changes, go to “To deploy local changes”.
To accept network changes, go to “To accept network changes”.
To undo changes, go to “To undo changes”.
To deploy local changes
1 Select one or more WX switches.
To select multiple switches, press Shift (for contiguous switches) or
Control (for noncontiguous switches) while clicking.
2 In the Local Changes group box, click Deploy. The Deploy
Configurations dialog box appears.
The dialog lists the WX switches that have configuration changes.
3 Select the WX switches to which you want to deploy the changes.
To select more than one WX, click Shift while clicking to select
contiguous items, or click Ctrl while clicking to select noncontiguous
items.
4 Click Deploy Now.
The deployment status for each affected WX is shown on the History tab
at the bottom of the dialog box.
If errors occur, click Selected Errors to view the errors. If there are errors,
fix them and verify the changes before trying to deploy again. (You can
use the Verification tab to fix the errors. See “Verifying Configuration
Information” on page 327.)
If the deploy is successful, 3WXM also instructs the WX switch to save the
changes in its configuration file.
5 Click Close to return to the Managed Devices tab.
6 If the network plan is successfully deployed and synchronized, save the
network plan at this time.
To accept network changes
1 Select one or more WX switches.
To select multiple WX switches, press Shift (for contiguous WX switches)
or Control (for noncontiguous WX switches) while clicking.
2 In the Network Changes group box, click Accept.
The status is shown in the Network Status and Local Status columns.
3 Click Close.
