8 In the Physical Port List group box, click Choose Available to select the
list of physical ports for which the location policy is applied. The Physical
Port Selection dialog box appears.
a Select one or more ports. To make multiple selections, press Shift (for
contiguous items) or Control (for noncontiguous items) while clicking
items.
b Click Close.
9 To select Distributed MAPs, click Distributed MAP List. Click Choose
Available, then select a Distributed MAP connection from the list.
Repeat for each Distributed MAP connection you want to add.
10 In the Action list, select one of the following:
Permit — Allows access if the conditions in the location policy rule
are matched.
If you select Permit, you must specify at least one of following:
VLAN (See step 11.)
In ACL — ACL applies to packets sent to the WX (See step 12.)
Out ACL — ACL applies to packets sent from the WX (See
step 13.)
Deny — Refuses network access if the conditions in the location
policy rule are matched.
If you select Deny, go to step 14.
11 In the VLAN Name box, type the name of the VLAN to which users are
assigned if the location policy rules are matched. The name can be
1 to 32 alphanumeric characters, with no spaces or tabs.
12 In the In ACL Name box, type the name of the input ACL that applies if
the location policy rules are matched. The ACL name can be 1 to 32
alphanumeric characters, with no spaces or tabs. (For more information
about ACL name restrictions, see “Setting Up ACL Basic Properties” on
page 308.)
13 In the Out ACL Name box, type the name of the output ACL that applies
if the location policy rules are matched. The name can be 1 to 32
alphanumeric characters, with no spaces or tabs.
14 Click Finish to close the wizard and save the changes.
