Rather than type the preshared key, you can specify a passphrase that
is used to generate a preshared key.
In the Pre-shared Key box, type an alphanumeric passphrase
(8 to 63 characters).
Click Generate Key. The preshared key appears in the Pre-shared
Key box.
5 Go to “To configure WPA or RSN encryption choices”.
To configure WPA or RSN encryption choices
1 To enable the 40-bit WEP cipher suite, select WEP-40 Enabled.
To disable it, clear WEP-40 Enabled. By default, this option is not
enabled.
2 To enable the 104-bit WEP cipher suite, select WEP-104 Enabled.
To disable it, clear WEP-104 Enabled. By default, this option is not
enabled.
3 To enable the TKIP cipher suite, select TKIP Enabled.
To disable it, clear TKIP Enabled. By default, the TKIP cipher suite is
enabled.
4 After enabling the TKIP cipher suite, type the TKIP countermeasures time
in the TKIP Countermeasures Time box.
By default, TKIP countermeasures are used for 60,000 ms (60 seconds)
after a second MIC failure within a one-minute interval.
5 To enable the AES-CCMP cipher suite, select AES (CCMP) Enabled.
To disable it, clear AES (CCMP) Enabled. By default, this option is not
enabled.
6 Do one of the following:
To map this service profile to a radio profile that is already configured,
see “Mapping a Service Profile to a Radio Profile”.
To configure a new radio profile, see “Configuring a Radio Profile” on
page 245.
To close the wizard and save the changes, click Finish.
