When a wireless client requests access to the network, the client requests
access to a specific Service Set Identifier (SSID).
Beaconing, encryption, and authentication settings for the SSID are
controlled by a service profile. The service profile controls the following
parameters:
Whether the SSID is beaconed
Whether the SSID’s traffic is encrypted or unencrypted
