Setting NTP Properties
To set NTP properties:
1 Do one of the following:
Open the WX Switch wizard, then select NTP under IP Services in the
organizer list of the System and Administrative page.
In the Organizer panel, select IP Services under a WX switch, then
select Config > Edit. The Modify IP Services wizard appears. Click on
NTP at the top of the wizard.
2 To enable NTP, select Enabled. To disable NTP, clear Enabled. By
default, NTP is disabled.
3 If you disabled NTP in step 2, go to step 5. Otherwise, go to the next
step.
4 To set the interval at which an NTP server is polled, specify its value in
seconds (16 to 1024) in the Update Interval box. The default is 64
seconds.
5 Do one of the following:
Go to “Configuring ARP”.
Select another item in the WX Switch wizard, if you are using this
wizard.
Click Finish to close the wizard and save changes.
Creating NTP Servers
To create an NTP server:
1 Do one of the following:
Open the WX Switch wizard, then select NTP under IP Services in the
organizer list of the System and Administrative page.
In the Organizer panel, select IP Services under a WX switch, then
select Config > Edit. The Modify IP Services wizard appears. Click on
NTP at the top of the wizard.
2 Click on a row in the NTP Server IP Address column.
3 Click New NTP Server.
4 Edit the IP address.
5 To add more NTP servers, repeat for every server. You can add a total of
three NTP servers.
