3 Do one of the following:
Go to “Disabling or Reenabling WebAAA”.
Select another item in the WX Switch wizard, if you are using this
wizard.
Click Finish to close the wizard and save changes.
Disabling or
Reenabling WebAAA
To disable or reenable WebAAA on the WX:
1 Do one of the following:
Open the WX Switch wizard, then select HTTPS, Telnet, SSH & Web
Portal under Management Services in the organizer list of the System
and Administrative page.
In the Organizer panel, select Management Services under a WX
switch, then select Config > Edit. Click on HTTPS, Telnet, SSH &
Web Portal at the top of the wizard.
2 Select Enabled to enable WebAAA access, or clear Enabled to disable
WebAAA access. By default, WebAAA access is enabled.
3 Do one of the following:
Go to “Configuring SNMP”.
Select another item in the WX Switch wizard, if you are using this
wizard.
Click Finish to close the wizard and save changes.
Configuring SNMP You can monitor your network by using the Simple Network
Management Protocol (SNMP). SNMP is a protocol used to exchange
information about network activity between network devices. By default,
SNMP is disabled.
You can configure the following SNMP parameters:
Enable or disable SNMP service on the WX.
Enable or disable individual SNMP versions.
Configure notification profiles to enable SNMP notifications.
Specify community strings and USM (SNMPv3) users.
Specify SNMP notification targets (trap receivers).
