The Command Line Interface utility (CLI) of HP MPIO XP DSM enables you to monitor and manage
multipathing devices. This chapter d escribes the following CLI commands:
hpdsm devices
hpdsm d evices all
hpdsm paths device
hpdsm set device policy
hpdsm set device path
hpdsm cleanup device
hpdsm notify
hpdsm help
hpdsm devices
Syntax: hp
dsm devices
The hpdsm devices command displays information about the HP MPIO devices as shown in the
following example. If there are no devices present, the following message is displayed: No devices
found.
NOTE:
See hpdsm set device policy for a denitionofthepolicies.TheP.B.T.L.columnshowsthedeviceport,
bus, target, and LUN.
