NOTE:
• Multipath I/O is provided as an inbox feature on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft
Windows Server 2008 R2 and the version numbers mentioned above for mpio.sys, mpdev.sys,
and mpspfltr.sys are not applicable for the same.
• Check with Microsoft for Multipath I/O feature updates on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2.
• On Microsoft Windows Server 2003, the minimum MPIO framework version supported on this
DSM is 1.20.
Known issues and limitations
Following are the known issues and limitations of HP MPIO SVSP DSM:
• Selective presentation of devices on specific host paths is not supported. The devices should be
presented on all paths to the host.
• On any one host, all the Host Bus Adapters (HBA) must be of the same type.
• Path performance statistics may not be displayed correctly for systems running Windows Server
2008 and later.
• Cluster shared volume is not supported on Windows Server 2008 R2.
