NOTE:
• For Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2, Multipath I/O is provided as an inbox
feature and the version numbers for mpio.sys, mpdev.sys and mpspfltr are not applicable for the
same.
• Check with Microsoft for Multipath I/O feature updates on Windows Server 2008 and Windows
Server 2008 R2.
Known issues and limitations
• Path performance statistics may not be displayed correctly for systems running on Windows
Server 2008 and later
• Selective presentation of devices on specific paths is not supported. The devices must either be
presented over all the paths, or the devices should not have any common paths
