Operating system requirements

Following are the operating system requirements for HP MPIO EVA DSM:

• Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 (x86, IA64 and x64)

• Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 2 (x86, IA64 and x64)

• Windows Server 2003 R2 with Service Pack 2 (x86 and x64)

• Windows Server 2008 (x86, IA64 and x64)

• Windows Server 2008 – Server Core (x86 and x64)

Supported storage systems

The HP MPIO EVA DSM supports the following disk arrays:

• EVA4000

• EVA4100

• EVA4400

• EVA6000

• EVA6100

• EVA6400

• EVA8000

• EVA8400

• EVA8100

Prerequisite drivers

HP StorageWorks RAID storage systems are generally installed with a Solution Software kit, such as

the Fibre Channel Installation kit. These kits install or update certain drivers necessary for using HP
