Windows procedure
1. Go to the Color Center in the HP Utility, and click Prole Management.
2. Select the paper type that you will use with the ICC prole, and click at the bottom of the dialog box.
3. Select the le containing the ICC prole.
NOTE: ICC prole le names have the extension ".icc" (for International Color Consortium) or ".icm" (for
Image Color Matching).
4. Check the ICC prole name, then click Next.
5. The ICC prole is installed in your computer and will be available to use in your applications.
macOS procedure
1. Go to Paper Preset Management in the HP Utility and select the ICC prole to be installed.
2. Click at the bottom of the window, then Install prole.
3. Check the ICC prole name, then click Continue.
Export a color prole
An ICC prole associated with a paper type can be exported, enabling it to be used on a dierent printer or with a
dierent paper preset..
Windows procedure
1. Go to the Color Center in the HP Printer Utility, and click Prole Management.
2. Select the paper type and the ICC prole to be exported, then click at the bottom of the window.
3. Choose the pathname of the folder in which the ICC prole will be saved in your computer.
4. The ICC prole le is saved in the specied folder.
macOS procedure
1. Go to Paper Preset Management in the HP Utility and select the paper type and ICC prole to be exported.
2. Click at the bottom of the window, then Export ICC prole.
3. Choose the pathname of the folder in which the ICC prole will be saved in your computer, then click
Continue.
Restore an original color prole
The ICC prole settings in a paper preset can be restored to their original values. This will remove any ICC prole
that you have associated with the selected paper and restore the default ICC prole provided by HP.
Windows procedure
1. Go to the Color Center in the HP Printer Utility, and click Prole Management.
2. Select the paper type whose ICC prole you want to restore. Click Restore.
