3 New and updated in this release The new features introduced in ESXi 4.1 Update 2 are as follows: 6 • Supports G5 through G7 upgrade. • Provides BladeSystem, Virtual Connect, and FlexFabric support. • VMware IOVP Certified Device Drivers added to HP ESXi 4.1 Update 2 installation images for HP device enablement. • Supports HPSIM, HP Insight Control for Virtual Center. • Insight Control HPSIM, WEBES and RDP support for HP customized images. • Supports update of HP VIBs using VUM.
4 Important notes and recommendations Multiple 9006 Traps may be generated on ProLiant DL360 G7, ProLiant DL380 G7, and ProLiant DL580 G7 Servers using VMware ESXi Server 4.0 and 4.1 with Integrated Lights-Out 3 (iLO 3) with SNMP enabled Provider portion of the fix for the issue where multiple 9006 Traps may be generated on ProLiant DL360 G7, ProLiant DL380 G7, and ProLiant DL580 G7 Servers using VMware ESXi Server 4.1 with Integrated Lights-Out 3 (iLO 3) with SNMP enabled is included in this release.
