Defines services used when building up firewall rules.
Field Name Field Type Explanation
client_ports OptPortRangeList Ports from which the traffic originates.
fwtype fwtype_sel The firewall type to use for this service.
ixmptype OptIcmpRangeList Type for ICMP packets.
name GroupName A name of the service. It is used to refer to
this service.
protocol OptProtocolReference A reference to the ’name’ field of the
’db.firewall.protocols’ table.
server_ports OptPortRangeList Ports to which the traffic is destined.
subgroup SubGroup A reference to the ’name’ field. Used when
building a service from multiple other
services.
