8.3.1 Software Installation
Please see section 9.0 Software Installation in this document. Section 9.0
provides the specific procedures needed to install your HSOF V5.7 Software.
The information in this section can be used in conjunction with the information
found in the HSZ50 Array Controller HSOF V5.1 Service Manual, Chapter 3
“Installing and Upgrading”, pages 3-3 through 3-21.
8.3.2 HSUTIL Procedure
Please insert the following procedure in the HSZ50 Array Controller HSOF
V5.1 Service Manual, Chapter 3 “Installing and Upgrading”, page 3-36 after
the section “Considerations for Installing New device Firmware”.
Use the below procedure to upgrade firmware with HSUTIL.

Connect a local terminal to the controller that accesses the device you
want to upgrade.
2. Configure a single-disk unit.
