3 User Administration
The Manage Users menu lets you perform a variety of user account management functions. To
access this menu:
1. From the Internet Express Administration Utility Main menu, choose Manage Components.
The Manage Components menu is displayed.
2. From the Manage Components menu, under Users, choose Manage Users. The Manage
Users menu is displayed (Figure 3-1).

From the Manage Users menu, you can perform the following tasks:
Create named captive accounts (see Section 3.2: Creating Captive Accounts for Named Users)
or generic captive accounts (see Section 3.3: Creating Captive Accounts for Generic Users)
for Internet Express users, and elect to store the account information in an LDAP directory
server
Create noncaptive accounts for UNIX system users (see Section 3.4: Creating a Noncaptive
Account for a UNIX System User), and elect to store the account information in an LDAP
directory server
Create groups for user accounts (see Section 3.5: Creating Groups), and elect to store the
group information in an LDAP directory server
Display user account information (see Section 3.6: Displaying User Account Information)
Delete user accounts (see Section 3.7: Deleting User Accounts)
Change the secondary groups an account is assigned to (see Section 3.8: Changing Groups
for User Accounts)
