Agent. Topics include:

Platform Specific Components
Platform specific components applicable to this EVM Host Agent:

Operating System Version Support
This release of the EVM Host Agent supports only the Tru64 UNIX Version 5.1a with
IPK operating system.
IMPORTANT: The IPK is required for EVM to function properly.
TruCluster Support
This EVM Host Agent provides full support for Compaq TruCluster™ clusters. The
EVM Host Agent is a cluster aware application, so the host agent needs to be installed
on only one host per cluster. The EVM Resource page displays a single host icon for
the cluster.
File System Support
This EVM Host Agent supports the Advanced File System (AdvFS) and UNIX File
System (UFS). AdvFS has the following limitations:
• Each domain must be comprised entirely of HSG80 subsystem storage.
• No more than eight disks are allowed per AdvFS domain.
• No more than 128 filesets are allowed per AdvFS domain.
