2.1 Hardware Support
HSOF Software Version 5.7 supports the following revisions or higher for the
RAID Array 450 and associated hardware:
• RAID Array 450 controller modules, hardware revision A or B
• Cache module Version 3, hardware revision A or B, with external cache
battery
• BA350-MA controller shelf
• BA350-Sx device shelf
• BA356-Sx wide device shelf (with 8- or 16-bit personality module)
• BA35x–HF power supply
• HS35X–BA Single External Cache Battery SBB (with 1 ECB)
• HS35X–BB Dual External Cache Battery SBB (with 2 ECBs)
• HSSIM–AA 32 MB SIMM Pack for Version 3 Cache module upgrades
2.2 Operating System Support
HSOF Software Version 5.7 on the RAID Array 450 is supported by the
following operating system versions:
Compaq Tru64 UNIX: V4.0d, V4.0e, V4.0f, V5.0, and V5.0a
The RAID Array 450 is supported on StorageWorks Systems equipped with the
PCI wide-differential SCSI adapter.
NOTE
If you are operating with any Compaq Tru64 UNIX versions
prior to V5.0, it is important to install HSOF software V5.7 on
your controllers before upgrading to Compaq Tru64 UNIX
versions 5.0 or higher.
