8. Enter the product ID of the device you want to upgrade. This ID
corresponds to the product information that’s reported in the “Type”
column when you issue the SHOW DISK command.The HSUTIL menu
will ask the following:

9. Enter the disk or tape name of the device you want to upgrade.
Example:

10. If the vendor's method of updating the code image has changed for this
device, it may be necessary to treat this as an unsupported device. (See the
Firmware Release Notes for device support information.) The HSUTIL
menu will ask the following:
Do you want to process this device as an unsupported device
(y/n)
Example: n

Confirm or enter the byte count of the firmware image. This can be found
in the Release Notes that were shipped with the Firmware.
What is the TOTAL SIZE of the code image in bytes (min:65537,
max:524288)
Example: 265216
12. Confirm the download.

Some disk firmware releases require that you reformat the disk after
upgrading its firmware. See the documentation that accompanied the
firmware to determine if you need to reformat the device.
