Intended Audience
This document is intended for customers who:
• Have purchased the HP StorageWorks ACS Version 8.7P DRM solution,
•Are using HP Tru64 UNIX V5.1a as the operating system for one or more hosts in their SAN,
• Are using Logical Storage Manager V5.1a to manage storage through their HP Tru64 UNIX hosts,
and
• Are using either HP Data Replication Manager (DRM) scripts or command line interpreter (CLI)
commands for failover and failback procedures
This document assumes that the user has a working knowledge of:
• HP StorageWorks Data Replication Manager, including configuration and failover/failback
procedures
• HP Tru64 UNIX operating system
HP DRM Scripting Kit
The HP DRM Scripting Kit scripts, which automate DRM failover and failback procedures and greatly
reduce the need for CLI commands, can be downloaded at the following website:
