You are asked for a password, which is required to do configurations within the
Client software. If an old password is found, you are asked if you want to use it.
Enter Subsystem Information
15. Enter your case-sensitive password that has 4 to 16 characters, and press the
Enter key. You are asked to retype the password.
16. Retype the password and press the Enter key.
Once the password has been entered, the system scans for subsystems. You will be
asked for the name and monitoring interval of each RAID subsystem found.
17. Enter the subsystem name in lowercase letters, and press the Enter key. You are
asked for the monitoring interval. The monitoring interval is the rate at which the
Agent queries the specified subsystem for status.
18. Enter the monitoring interval in seconds, and press the Enter key. The monitoring
interval determines how often the Agent polls the subsystems. You are asked if the
displayed information is correct.
19. If the displayed information is correct, select option y and press the Enter key.
You are asked if you want Email enabled.
Configure Email Notification Details
20. To enable the Email, select option y and press the Enter key. The software asks
for the address of the person to notify.
21. Enter the address of the person to notify, and press the Enter key.
22. From the displayed menu, enter the notification level: 1, 2, or 3.
