Configuring Task
Parameters
Select Tools > Configuration from the Console’s menu bar to open
the
Configuration Management dialog, then click the Task Parame-
ters
option in the option tree pane to expand it.
The
Task Parameters option consists of two sub-options: Valid Time
and Timeout
and Write Filter Policy Setting. These are described in
the following sections.
Valid Time and Timeout
The Valid Time and Timeout options enable you to set the duration
HP Device Manager will wait for the execution of tasks. You can
also specify the start and end time of working hours during which
HP Device Manager will not execute tasks. Clicking in an option
field will cause the
Description box to display a short description of
that option.
1 Select Valid Time and Timeout in the option tree pane of the
Configuration Management dialog.
2 Set the time, in minutes, for each category: Valid Time, General
Timeout
, General Batch Interval, PXE Batch Interval and FTP
Batch Interval
