If You Are Unable To Install SAN Manager DM

Symptom Cause/Solution
Installation terminates and
prompts for a system
reboot.
Windows Installer version 1.0 is installed on your system. SAN
Manager DM uses version 1.1 of the Windows Installer. Windows
requires a system reboot in order to upgrade the Installer version.
1. Click the OK button to reboot.
2. Continue installation of SAN Manager DM.
The Next button is not
available in Installation
Wizard. Cannot continue
with installation.
Required version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) not
installed. SAN Manager DM requires JRE 1.2.2-001. This version of
the JRE is delivered on the SAN Manager DM CD-ROM.
1. Click the Cancel button to exit the Installation Wizard.
2. From the Introduction window, select Install JAVA 2 JRE.
3. Follow the instructions to install the JRE.
4. Reattempt installation of SAN Manager DM.
Current NT logon name does not have administrators privilege
for this system. Administrator privilege for system on which SAN
Manager DM is being installed is required in order to proceed past the
Minimum Requirements window of the Installation Wizard. Log on to
the system with a user name that has administrators privilege.
