96 Managing media
The command output lists the names and attributes of all currently configured FSE media pools in the FSE
implementation, as follows:
• the media pool family and type,
• the owning partition name,
• the medium block size,
• the number of volumes on the medium,
• the data volume size,
• the location of an optional system volume on the medium,
• the system volume size.
You can specify most of these attributes in the media pool configuration file.
If you use the --detail option, fsepool formats the output in a different way, and displays additional
FSE media pool attributes, as follows:
• the UUID of the pool,
• the UUID of the owning partition,
• the media pool’s RMDB entry key.
These attributes are assigned automatically by FSE during the FSE media pool (or FSE partition)
configuration.
