/var/opt/fse/part
/var/opt/fse/log
The HHM default behavior can modified by adjusting the HHM configuration file residing on the
consolidated FSE system or FSE server.
Windows specific default behavior
By default, HHM monitors the FSE system directories on HHM server and its clients, but triggers no action,
regardless of the threshold crossing events.
By default, the file systems with FSE databases and system files that are monitored are:
%InstallPath%\var
%InstallPath%\var\part
%InstallPath%\log
The value of %InstallPath% depends on the choice made in the FSE installation process. It defaults to
C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\FSE.
The HHM default behavior can be modified by adjusting the HHM configuration file residing on the
consolidated FSE system or FSE server.
HHM configuration file
The HHM configuration file resides in the directory /var/opt/fse/cfg/hhm (on Linux systems) or in the
directory %InstallPath%\var\cfg\hmm (on Windows systems) on the HHM server.
The value of %InstallPath% depends on the choice made in the FSE installation process. It defaults to
C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\FSE.
The HHM server must be installed on the FSE server. HHM clients use the configuration file on the HHM
server. The HHM configuration file contains the following sections:
general HHM settings
e-mail settings
triggered actions definitions
monitored items definitions
General HHM settings
The general HHM section is marked by the [system] string in the configuration file.
The only key configurable in the general HHM section of the configuration file is the MonitorInterval
key, which defines the interval between consecutive verifications of thresholds by HHM in seconds.
