• To start the consistency check of a FSC with particular FSE media or particular FSE medium volumes on
the same medium, using FSE command-line interface, run the following command:
The argument Barcode... contains one or more barcodes for FSE media that should be checked.
These FSE media must be related to the same FSE partition. The option --volume introduces the
argument VolumeNumber... which contains one or more numbers for FSE medium volumes on the
same FSE medium that should be checked. If --volume is used, Barcode... can only contain one
barcode.
The options --autocorrect and --match-media have the same meaning as described in the first
choice.
To start the FSC consistency check with all related FSE media using graphical user interface, in the FSE
Management Console window, in the object tree, expand the Partitions container, right-click the chosen
FSE partition, and then click Check Medium.

To enable automatic correction and removal of missing entries from FSC that have not been found in the
FRI or on FSE media, in the Check Medium window, select the options Auto Correct and Remove Missing
On Media, respectively.
