Consistent with current FSE offerings, this family of solutions simply appear as an external
drive to existing customer applications with following value-added services:
High performance read/write capability for frequently accessed files targeting the
staging or cache disk components.
High performance read/write capacity for less frequently accessed files are moved
into the extended archive consisting of low-cost capacity disk (MSA1500) and an
WORM capable and disaster secured MSL4048 tape library.
File recall from the MSA1500 is provided at the speed of the Cache disk.
In the unlikely event that the MSA1500 is unavailable, all archived data can be recovered
from the MSL4048 tape library.
Delivering compliant record authenticity thru a WORM LTO capability for storing
highly sensitive files.
