share digital photos through hp instant share
HP Instant Share lets you share photos with friends and family members:
• Through e-mail
• In online albums
• As quality prints
This section contains the following topics:
• share photos through e-mail on page 33
• share photos through the Share Menu on page 34
Note: Before you can share photos by using HP Instant Share, you must
register your HP PSC 2500 with the HP Instant Share website, make some
HP Instant Share settings, and configure your HP PSC for network use.
Normally, HP Instant Share setup is done during the installation process. If
you are unable to do this, you can still use a software-based form of HP
Instant Share provided that you have your HP PSC 2500 connected to a
computer with Internet access and with the HP Photo & Imaging Gallery (HP
Gallery) software installed. See the hp instant share network setup and use
on page 197 and hp instant share direct connect setup and use on
page 191 for additional information.
share photos through e-mail
The E-mail button on your HP PSC 2500 lets you easily share the selected
photo(s) with anyone who has an e-mail account.
1 Select one or more photos.
2 Press E-mail.
The E-mail List appears on the color graphics display of your HP PSC
2500. Enter the number of the appropriate e-mail address. Your HP PSC
sends the photo(s) to the HP Instant SHare website and sends an e-mail
message to the recipient with links to the photos.
Note: If the HP PSC 2500 is not connected to a network, the E-mail button
works differently. Your HP PSC transfers the currently displayed photo to the
HP Gallery, and places it in the HP Instant Share tab tray as an attachment
to an e-mail message you can then address and send from your computer.
