why should I register with hp instant share
With your HP PSC 2500 Series, HP Instant Share user registration is required if
you choose to use the Address Book, create and save Destinations, or execute
preconfigured Destinations. User registration is a separate log-on process from
the HP product registration and is accomplished using the HP Passport setup
program.
If you choose to save e-mail addresses and create distribution lists in a HP Instant
Share Address Book, you will be prompted to register. Registration is required
prior to configuring the Address Book and accessing the Address Book when
addressing an HP Instant Share e-mail.
Destinations are defined by any HP Instant Share service (including HP Instant
Share E-mail, upload to an online photo album, and online photo finishing) to
which you have applied preferences and saved so that the service can be
applied to an image directly on the HP PSC. When you chooses to create a
Destination, you first complete the registration process.
