hp instant share (network)
1 At the HP Instant Share Registration screen, select the register with
HP Instant Share option, and then click Next.
The HP Instant Share Setup Assistant Introduction screen appears.
2 Read the instructions and click Next.
Setup searches the network for HP Instant Share compatible devices and
displays them on the Device Selection screen.
3 Select the device you want to register with HP Instant Share from the list,
and then click Select.
Setup obtains the model name and serial number of the HP PSC so that the
device can be registered with the HP Instant Share website.
The Use Your Web Browser to Register screen appears.
Your browser opens over the HP Instant Share Setup Assistant screen.
The Welcome to HP Instant Share Setup screen appears in the browser.
4 Click Start to begin the HP Instant Share Setup program.
The Setup program registers your device with the HP Instant Share server
while you are registering with HP Instant Share.
The Go Online screen appears.
5 Select Do not show this screen again...., and then click Next.
The One-Time Setup—Region and Terms of Use screen appears.
6 Select a region from the drop-down list.
7 Read the Terms of Use, select the I Agree check box, and then click Next.
The Sign-in with HP Passport screen appears.
8 Click If you don’t have an account, click here.
9 Configure your HP Passport authentication account, and then click Next.
The You now have an HP Passport! screen appears.
10 Click Close.
You are returned to the Sign-in with HP Passport screen.
11 Enter your HP Passport userid and password.
12 Select the Remember my userid and password check box to store your
userid password in the system.
13 Click Next.
The Set Up Your Instant Share Destination screen appears.
If your device shipped with Destinations already installed, they will display
in the Current Destinations on your Share Menu list on the left portion of the
screen.
14 Click Create to add a Destination to the list.
The Choose an HP Instant Share Service screen appears.
15 Select HP Instant Share E-mail: lets you send images and e-mail
attachments directly from an HP Instant Share device. The source of the
images can be the photo card, the scanner, or the capture device (the
photo card in the camera).
16 Click Next.
