Installing Server Rails
To install the server rails on your Compaq ProLiant ML370 Generation 2
server:
IMPORTANT: Install the server rails with the smooth side of the rail against the sever
chassis.
1. Align the four keyholes on one of the server rails above the four spools
on the side of the chassis. The closed, tapered end of the rail points
toward the rear panel of the server.
2. Press the rail against the side of the chassis and slide toward the rear of
the server to snap and lock the rail into place.

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the first rail is firmly anchored to the chassis before attaching
the second rail.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to secure the second rail to the server.
