6. Slide the media drive fully into the bay until it is seated securely.
7. Reinstall the bezel blank, if the second bay is not populated, and
CD-ROM drive.
NOTE: If the second media bay is already populated with an optional drive, store the extra
bezel blank for use at a later time.
8. Install other hardware options as needed or reinstall the access panel.
9. Power up the server.
Installing a Full-Height Media Device
To install a single full-height tape or other storage device in the removable
media cage:
1. Power down the server and remove bezel blanks. Follow the procedure
for Removing Bezel Blanks in this chapter.
2. Remove the installation screws from the bezel blank.
3. Follow steps 3 through 6 from Installing a Half-Height Media Device
to complete the installation.

4. Install other hardware options, as needed, or reinstall the access panel.
5. Power up the server.
