Viewing the Event List

To view the event list:

1. From the Compaq Insight Manager XE, select the appropriate server;

then select View Device Data. The selected server is displayed with

buttons around its perimeter.

2. Click Recovery.

3. Select Compaq Integrated Management Log.

4. If a failed component has been replaced, select the event from the list,

then select Mark Repaired.

Printing the Event List

To print the event list:

1. From the Compaq Insight Manager XE, select the appropriate server.

The selected server is displayed with buttons around its perimeter.

2. Click Configuration.

3. Click Recovery.

4. Click Print.

Compaq Survey Utility

The Compaq Survey Utility is a serviceability tool available for Microsoft

Windows NT, Novell NetWare, Linux, and UnixWare operating systems that

delivers configuration capture and comparison to maximize server availability.

It is available on the Management CD in the Server Setup and Management
