6. Connect the unattached end of the Remote Insight interface cable to the
connector on the system board.

NOTE: Connecting the Remote Insight board to an external AC power source provides
power in case the system AC power is unavailable. It is not necessary to have system AC
power connected in order to use Remote Insight features. The Remote Insight board
functions when the server is powered down if the internal interface cable is installed.
7. Install other hardware options as needed before returning the server to
its operational environment or reinstalling it in a rack.
8. Install the access panel. See Chapter 3, “Installing Hardware Options.”
