Server Features
This guide provides information about Compaq ProLiant ML370
Generation 2 tower and rack servers. This ground-up redesign pushes the
engineering and design envelope by offering features never before seen in this
class of server.
ProLiant ML370 Generation 2 servers combine the latest Intel Pentium III
processor technology with 64-bit/66-MHz PCI Hot Plug expansion slots,
triple-peer PCI bus architecture, 133-MHz front-side bus processing,
online spare memory support, hot-plug redundant power and cooling options,
and rapid deploy rails for Compaq, Telco and third-party racks. This enhanced
feature set provides the customer with superior performance, higher levels of
availability, and simplified setup and serviceability.
Overview
Compaq ProLiant ML370 Generation 2 servers support the latest processing
and system architecture technology, including:
Intel Pentium III Flip Chip-Pin Grid Array (FC-PGA) processors with
dual-processor capability
Integrated Dual Channel Ultra3 SCSI controller
Integrated RAID capabilities with the optional Smart Array 5i
Controller
