3. Seat the center wall securely in the chassis . This ensures that the
hot-plug fans engage their connectors on the system board.
4. Tighten all four thumbscrews to secure the center wall assembly .

5. Ensure that all cable routing is securely in place before reinstalling the
next component.
Installing PCI Expansion Boards
To install the PCI expansion boards that you removed before installing the
Smart Array 5i Controller:
1. Position the expansion board above the expansion slot and use the PCI
guide clip to align the board with the slot.
2. Press down on the expansion board to seat it in the slot .
3. Press the PCI slot release lever down until it clicks into place to lock the
slot
